在許多的新聞報導中，我們可以看到法官依據檢察官的證據將犯人定罪。然而如何進行鑑識，只能靠著電影或動畫的內容呈現並加以想像，在本次課程中，我們將化身鑑識人員，帶領大家學習鑑識科學中的奧秘，將犯人定罪。
Many social cases are reported in the news, we observe that judges convict criminals based on the evidence produced by the prosecutors. However, our imagination and knowledge of forensic science is purely based on movies or animations. Hence, it is limited. In this course, we will have experienced forensic personnel, leading you to learn the mysteries of forensic science required to convict criminals.

物證介紹
Substance Introduction
每項物質都有些獨特的性質，舉凡材質、顏色、氣味、密度…等等，警方也依其性質進行比對來得到關鍵證據。
我們將從實驗中找出物質的各種特性，證明其證據是否具有準確性。
Every substance has some unique properties, such as material, color, odour, density…etc. The police either uses these substances or other sources to run a criminal investigation. We will find out the various properties of these substances experimentally to prove the accuracy of the evidence.

軌跡比對
Trajectory Comparison
槍擊案在電影或動畫中常常出現。在課程中，會簡單介紹彈道的來源，並介紹警方用來模擬子彈飛行軌跡的方法。
Bullet firing/shooting is quite commonly observed in movies or animations. In the course, we will briefly introduce the source of the bullet trajectory and the method used by simulating the flight trajectory of the bullet.

指紋採集
Fingerprint Collection
指紋是重要的特徵。在課程中，我們將用三種方法採集指紋，並從實驗中觀察指紋能夠留下的線索。
Fingerprints are an important piece of evidence. In the course, we will use three methods to collect fingerprints and observe the clues that fingerprints leave behind experimentally.

Ion Flame Color
焰色為鑑定物質中含何種離子的重要方法，經由實驗觀察不同離子的焰色，體驗鑑識人員如何比對與確認成分的過程。
Flame test is an important technique to detect the presence of certain ions. Through these experiments, we will observe the flame color of different ions and the process of how the forensic personnel compare and confirms the composition.

色層分析
Chromatography Analysis
色層分析也是一種分析方法。生活中大家都體驗過賽跑比賽，在化學物質的賽跑比賽稱為色層分析。課程將體驗鑑識人員如何比對與確認成分的過程。
Another analytical method is Chromatography. Everyone has experienced races in life, and races in chemical substances are called chromatographic analysis. In the course, we will experience how the appraisers compare and confirm the ingredients.

假血實驗
Fake Blood
每個人身上都留著血液，紅色的血液是因為人體中紅血球所產生的顏色。近期戲劇盛行，假血也是戲劇中不可或缺的物品。在課程中，我們將學習用化學方法製造假血，讓學生能模擬電影中流血的橋段。
Blood is a circulating body fluid and is composed of multiple cells. Most television dramas use fake blood that look realistic. In this course, we will use chemical methods to make fake blood, so that students can simulate the bleeding act as shown in the movies.

血跡反應
Luminol
血液是每個人身上有的，若受到傷害則血液有機會遺留在現場，在名偵探柯南電影中也出現過用魯米諾產生血跡反應。在本次課程中，我們將教導大家使用魯米諾，模擬警方偵測出未察覺的血跡反應。
When we are injured, blood sometimes is observed at the crime scene. In the movie Detective Conan, blood reaction with luminol was shown. In this course, we will teach you how to use luminol to simulate an undetected blood stain that a criminal may try to hide.
